Is it possible to have vpn set up in gnome on a guixsd installation? I
am trying this and having some trouble.
I have added the openvpn and network-manager-openvpn packages to my
config.scm file.
I also set the services as follows:
(services (cons* (gnome-desktop-service)
(modify-services %desktop-services
(upower-service-type config =>
(upower-configuration
(inherit config)
(use-percentage-for-policy? #t)
(percentage-low 30)
(percentage-critical 27)
(percentage-action 25)
(critical-power-action 'hybrid-sleep)))
(network-manager-service-type config =>
(network-manager-configuration
(inherit config)
(vpn-plugins network-manager-openvpn)))
(udev-service-type config =>
(udev-configuration
(inherit config)
(rules (cons* android-udev-rules
(udev-configuration-rules
config))))))))
when I reconfigure with this, I get a failure to build with the
following log file:
Backtrace:

In guix/build/union.scm:

Short answer: not via the guix configuration - it is broken at the moment.
You might be succesful with Bitmask(1) via PYPI, or manually setting up
openvpn.

Ok, thanks. I may wait until it becomes un-broke.
