I have a small problem that=E2=80=99s a bit odd, perhaps. I have som= e=20 environment variables defined to include Guix-related paths, but I have no= =20 idea where they=E2=80=99re being defined. I was sourcing the =E2=80=98~/.guix-profile/etc/profile=E2=80=99 file from = my =E2=80=98~/.profile=E2=80=99,=20 but after I commented that part of my =E2=80=98~/.profile=E2=80=99 out, I= =E2=80=99m still getting the=20 Guix-related paths in $GDK_PIXBUF_MODULE_FILE, $PATH, and $XDG_DATA_DIRS (a= ll=20 of which are defined in the Guix profile file), but also in $INFOPATH (whic= h=20 is not in the Guix profile file). I don=E2=80=99t remember ever defining th= ese=20 variables anywhere; sourcing the Guix profile from my shell profile is all= =20 that I recall ever doing. I do define some other Guix-related variables manually, but all of those=20 concern locales or certificates for various programs. I wish to undo the ot= her=20 paths being set by/for Guix, to make my environment temporarily unaware of= =20 Guix even being installed, for troubleshooting purposes, but I can=E2=80=99= t find out=20 how. I=E2=80=99m running Guix as a supplementary package manager on OpenSUSE 15.= 4, with KDE=20 as my desktop environment. I suppose this might not be Guix at fault, but j= ust=20 me overlooking something while setting it up, or the host system doing=20 something I=E2=80=99m not familiar with, but perhaps someone has had a simi= lar=20 experience? Any clues would be much appreciated! Best of wishes // Tirifto
