Hallo Guix-Gemeinschaft,
da ich blind bin benötige ich eine Sprachausgabe (Screenreader), wie es
bei Ubuntu das darin implementierte Bildschirmleseprogramm "Orca" ist.
Meine Frage:
Enthält die Distribution GNU Guix auch ein Bildschirmleseprogramm,
womöglich sogar "Orca" oder ein anderes? Oder muß man es extra installieren.
Besten Dank schon einmal für Infos und allen ein - trotz allem -
schönes, neues Jahr.

Sie können "guix search" verwenden, um sich über Pakete zu informieren.

In der GNOME-Umgebung wird Orca in der Voreinstellung mitinstalliert.
Man kann, ohne weitere Pakete zu installieren, in den Einstellungen
zur Barrierefreiheit den „Bildschirmleser“ / „Screen Reader“
aktivieren. Ich habe nicht viel ausprobiert, aber ich bekomme
vorgelesen. Wenn ich im Terminal „orca -s“ eingebe, kann ich Orca
einstellen.
Translation: In the GNOME environment, Orca gets installed by default.
One can, without installing further packages, activate the “Screen
Reader” in the accessibility settings. I have not tested much, but
the computer reads to me. When I enter “orca -s” in the Terminal, I
can change Orca’s settings.
