hello since this is a brand-new machine, i hadn't tried anything before. now it's happily running kubuntu (without any non-free drivers). which doesn't make it a linux-libre kernel (afaik), but still. what's the difference between the installer and the to-be-installed system? i'd be astonished if they weren't both linux-libre...
