Invoking autoreconf seems a bit overkill for a "patch-<something>"
phase.  Wouldn't it be regenerated in bootstrap if you (delete-file
"configure")?

Otherwise LGTM, but I haven't checked cross-compiling.  From your
message I'll assume you did.
