Subject: texlive-bin: Error: I can't find the format file pdflatex.fmt
Date: Fri, 16 Dec 2022 14:11:40 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <a93b551078c98ba4d1aaed392601552c@dismail.de> (raw)
Hi, after installing texlive-bin I get the following error:
Error: I can't find the format file pdflatex.fmt
This SO says to do the following
sudo texconfig rehash
https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/64894/error-i-cant-find-the-format-file-pdflatex-fmt
Which sound like it might be the solution but Guix says:
mktexlsr: /home/jgart/.guix-profile/share/texmf-dist/../texmf-dist: directory not writable. Skipping...
What should I do?
