This is an important point for me too

I realized that everyone is using git and not guix pull just yesterday

I have been using guix pull until today because I didn' t know any better

The manual mentions something that only beginners use and doesn' t mention
something that the majority of the community is using.

Probably in many of the footages in which Ludo appears, the use of git over
guix pull is assumed.

I think this is a problem. It' s unfair to newcomers and it damages Guix as
a project because it makes the learning curve steeper with not so much of a
point why.

I kinda agree with myglc2, on this.
