Good point.  I=E2=80=99d say we just remove the symlinks.

It would be possible yes.  Behind the scenes it would use gexp, so any
object whose type has a =E2=80=9Cgexp compiler=E2=80=9D can be used (this i=
ncludes
<package>, <origin>, and <local-file>.)

I=E2=80=99ll see what I can do if nobody beats me at it.
