Thanks for the heads-up!  I think merging ‘staging’ should be
top-priority.  People are welcome to upgrade/reconfigure from it with:

  guix time-machine --branch=staging -- …

Remaining things to check:

  - [ ] system tests
  - [ ] status on non-x86_64 architectures
