In general, you have to put the modules /etc/nsswitch.conf refers to in $LD_LIBRARY_PATH. The example above works for =E2=80=98sss=E2=80=99 but yo= u would do something similar for =E2=80=98mdns=E2=80=99, =E2=80=98ldap=E2=80=99, or wh= atever. It=E2=80=99s clunky because you have to know beforehand, when you make the = pack, what nsswitch.conf requires. Ludo=E2=80=99.
