Which kernel version are you using?

Here=E2=80=99s a mention of the =E2=80=9Cunable to decommit memory=E2=80=9D=
 bug:

This suggests that it=E2=80=99s something to do with a new glibc and/or an =
older
kernel, or maybe a GHC configuration problem.

FWIW: I=E2=80=99m using Linux libre 4.15.2-gnu (x86_64) with 16GB of RAM.
