That said, it=E2=80=99s quite optional: the worst that can happen if one of
these things is missing is that something can be reclaimed =E2=80=9Cprematu=
rely=E2=80=9D
from /gnu/store.  I say =E2=80=9Cprematurely=E2=80=9D with quotes because u=
sers are
supposed to register =E2=80=9Creal=E2=80=9D GC roots anyway, as with =E2=80=
=98guix package -i=E2=80=99
or =E2=80=98guix build --root=E2=80=99.
