As such, it tries hard to remain close to libgcrypt=E2=80=99s API, and I think that=E2= =80=99s a safe approach for bindings in general. Libgcrypt internally uses canonical sexps for key material, configuration options, etc. (an illustration of Greenspun=E2=80=99s Tenth R= ule :-)), so that=E2=80=99s what Guile-Gcrypt exposes, and I think it=E2=80=99s= fine.
