It=E2=80=99s mostly that no-trailing-whitespace is a simple canonical form.
Having everyone follow it makes sure we don=E2=80=99t run into annoying pat=
ch
conflicts due to whitespace, nor =E2=80=9Cnoisy patches=E2=80=9D that remov=
e trailing
spaces here and there.
