At least in my case, being able to find this answer by looking at Guix's
source (in a reasonable amount of time) requires a level of familiarity
with Guix that is greater than what I have today.  So yes, if I were
able to, it would certainly indicate that I had learned a great deal.

In other words, I am not so much looking for an answer, but rather help
to be able to figure out the answer on my own (in a reasonable amount of
time).
