I=E2=80=99ve looked at the 2,200+ commits since 0.9.0 (!) to update =E2=80=
=98NEWS=E2=80=99,
trying to keep it high-level and readable (nobody=E2=80=99s gonna read it if
it=E2=80=99s too long ;-)).

You=E2=80=99re welcome to check what=E2=80=99s in there, making sure your f=
avorite
feature or bug-fix appears, and posting changes!

The goal is to have everything ready on Monday evening.
