I=E2=80=99ve set up =E2=80=98guix publish=E2=80=99 with both gzip and lzip = substitutes at , in a setting similar to what we=E2=80=99ll eventually deploy on ci.guix.gnu.org if everything goes well (there=E2=80= =99s no proper TLS certificate but it doesn=E2=80=99t matter for =E2=80=98guix subs= titute=E2=80=99). Please try to fetch substitutes from there: --substitute-urls=3Dhttps://qualif.ci.guix.gnu.org If you=E2=80=99re running an =E2=80=9Cold=E2=80=9D guix-daemon, you should = be getting gzipped substitutes; otherwise you should be getting lzipped substitutes (check the URLs for /gzip or /lzip.) Note that initially many substitutes will be missing because they need to be =E2=80=9Cbaked=E2=80=9D; when that happens, be patient, and try again= 5mn later. =E2=80=98guix publish=E2=80=99 is running with =E2=80=9C-C gzip:5 -C lzip:9= =E2=80=9D mostly to save CPU time, so don=E2=80=99t use it as an lzip vs. gzip benchmark. Thanks, Ludo=E2=80=99.
