There=E2=80=99s a trick that =E2=80=98guix challenge=E2=80=99 uses to deter= mine whether something was locally built or substituted: run =E2=80=98guix build --log-f= ile whatever=E2=80=99 and see whether that returns a local build log or not. This is a fairly reliable way to get that information. There can be false-negatives if you remove logs. There cannot be false positives, AFAICS, since even =E2=80=98guix archive --import=E2=80=99 of something alr= eady present does not actually overwrite it. It cannot tell the difference between really locally-built and offloaded builds, though. Ludo=E2=80=99.
