As an average Guix user, I use `guix pull`.

In fact, I avoid `git pull and the pre-inst-env stuff`. I prefer to work
with GUIX_PACKAGE_PATH in order to work only with `guix package` and
`guix build` if I do have the need to install or build something that I
changed.
