Since we occasionally have to type it on the command line (like =E2=80=98herd load shepherd foo.scm=E2=80=99, =E2=80=98h= erd stop shepherd=E2=80=99, etc.), I initially thought that we might as well rename it to =E2=80=98root= =E2=80=99 or similar so that it=E2=80=99s not too much of a burden. But on second thought, it seems that we rarely have to type it anyway (esp. since =E2=80=98herd status=E2=80=99 is now synonymous for =E2=80=98he= rd status dmd=E2=80=99) so maybe =E2=80=98shepherd=E2=80=99 is OK after all. WDYT? Ludo=E2=80=99.
