Can you reproduce the problem in a VM created by =E2=80=98guix system vm=E2=
=80=99?
(Note that in QEMU you need to do ctrl-1 to go to the QEMU console, then
=E2=80=9Csendkey ctrl-alt-f1=E2=80=9D, and then ctrl-2 to switch back to th=
e VM screen.)

If not, could it be that the problem has to do with the graphics driver
being used?
