This sounds reasonable (in fact I wonder why we were not doing it
already given that things are supposed to live in $(srcdir)).

Did you confirm that =E2=80=98make distcheck=E2=80=99 passes after that, an=
d that
=E2=80=98help2man=E2=80=99 is not invoked when building from a tarball?
