Hi Mark,
Thanks for your message. As discussed privately, I’m sad to see you go,
and as co-maintainer I can only say you’re welcome back anytime you want.
For years you’ve done a lot of work maintaining IceCat and Linux-libre,
but also improving other areas of Guix, always in a rigorous way. I’m
very grateful for all these contributions and for your commitment.
Thank you and all the best for your future endeavors!

Now’s the time to ensure our bus factor on these packages is greater
than one. :-)
If you’re reading this and would like to help but aren’t sure how, let’s
discuss it here! The more we distribute work among ourselves, the
better for each one of us and for all of us.
Ludo’.

Thank you Ludovic, and thanks to all for the kind words. In light of
recent events at the FSF, I've had a change of heart and have decided to
return to the Guix project. Although I welcome more help with these
packages, I will resume my previous role, doing what I can to keep our
Linux-libre and IceCat packages up-to-date, as soon as my commit rights
on Savannah are restored.
Regards,
Mark

Thanks for the hard work. I am sad to see you go, and hope to see you back
soon.
I would like to ask, if there were any special workflows for linux-libre or
icecat, so
that the maintainers taking over can keep up the good quality work you have
done
in the past.

I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Thank you for all your work on these important parts of the Guix package
collection. I and many others have directly benefited from your
contributions and helpful insights. I will miss you, and I'm sure
others will, too.
Regarding IceCat specifically, is there any work-in-progress towards the
latest Firefox ESR release (68.1.0) that we should know about?
No matter where life takes you, I wish you the best of luck!

Hi Mark,
thank you for all the work you've done, and I'm sad to see you go.
It's great that you are officially announcing it so that handover can happen.
I've "left" other projects before and it's not clear beforehand how the news is received.
So thank you for that as well.
I hope I'll see you again.
BR,
Danny
