Yeah the consensus so far seems to be to host our own. It is pretty easy
as you said so it shouldn't be a problem for me to maintain it.
Do you think it would be ok to use a VPS? Or do we want a physical
server at somebody's home?

Yeah under the guix domain would be best. We also have the guix.info of
the foundation but idk how good it would be to be under that.
