Hi,
how often do we update the data on the website (I haven asked which
data though)? Is it in anyway accurate or just a snapshot taken once
a month?
And I don't know nothing about a json involved in the website, but I also
haven't looked at the current code which generates the packages websites.

The "packages" pages are updated nightly from the git master branch.

HTML+javascript is generated from the package modules. If they want
something more programmer-friendly than scrapping HTML, they could get
the same data from the packages themselves through Guile.

To whom it may concern ;-), there’s also the little-known
<https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/packages/packages.json>, which was
added for similar reasons.
