Subject: locales gone, gnome-terminal doesn't start up anymore
Date: Sun, 25 Sep 2016 23:32:22 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20160925233222.33804eb3@scratchpost.org> (raw)

Hi,

so I've updated to 947a5d47a50252cb0b87b78a8f83f274dec593e2 git guix and now I don't have any useful locales.

$ locale -a
C
POSIX

Also, gnome-terminal doesn't start anymore:

$ gnome-terminal
Error constructing proxy for org.gnome.Terminal:/org/gnome/Terminal/Factory0: Error calling StartServiceByName for org.gnome.Terminal: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process org.gnome.Terminal exited with status 8

$ gnome-terminal --disable-factory
Failed to parse arguments: Option "--disable-factory" is no longer supported in this version of gnome-terminal.

Sigh... at least xterm still works.
