I meant to keep it until it was really really deprecated. Currently it
is still used in a key place, in (guix packages), which is why I left
it.
Maybe we should reinstate it, WDYT?

Okay, no problem. I just thought that the doc is already long enough without
keeping historic data :-)
So I reverted and pushed (it is nice how easy this is with git).

Well, I feel better now I read a few complete chapters! More to come.
I intend to also make suggestions for reorganising larger chunks.
