How is $CPPUNITTRACE used exactly? If it???s used as in:

       sh -c $CPPUNITTRACE test-program

then I???m surprised it works at all, because ???gdb --args test-program???
just spawns an interactive GDB session.

     Any idea what happens?

Yes, I was suprised too. Maybe it runs some preprepared script.
