Would it be possible to create an extra Git repo for GNU Guix, as
guix/artwork.git?

This is the place where logos and artwork for Guix would go.

I've created a new sub-repository. You can access it in the following ways:

Anonymous git access:
  git clone git://git.sv.gnu.org/guix/guix-artwork.git

Read/Write Access:
  git clone <user>@git.sv.gnu.org:/srv/git/guix/guix-artwork.git

Web Access:
  http://git.sv.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=guix/guix-artwork.git
  http://git.sv.gnu.org/cgit/guix/guix-artwork.git

Thank you for the quick action!

guix/artwork.git (rather than guix/guix-artwork.git) would have been enough,
but perhaps it's too late/inconvenient to rename?

I believe the current accepted practice is to have the project's name as a
prefix, as appears in the original instructions for GNU Savannah maintainers:
   http://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/Git/

If this is a problem, I can rename it.
