No, I did not reinstall Guix. I just uninstalled the package. I thought it would be fun to always build my own software. I think I will return to using pre-build binaries for a while.

Uff, this is because the domain that used to serve the tarball has
started serving very different content. :-/

I have fixed this in the Guix master branch with commit
91c8b23e571b90e2d263194c9fbb2b05c0475dc1.
