i have updated my local checkout to:

then i have issued:

$ ./pre-inst-env guix package -u qbittorrent
```

and now qbitorrent seems to work fine. may be relevant that the command resulted in a local rebuild:

i'm not sure whether this has been fixed in master, or by the fact that it got rebuilt locally.
