I installed guix on a debian 10 VPS with the following:
cd /tmp wget
https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/guix.git/plain/etc/guix-install.sh chmod
+x guix-install.sh ./guix-install.sh

I ran guix install nginx then ran guix pull

~ $ guix pull
