On x86_64 arch Linux, using Guile 2.0.9
guix_localstatedir='/usr/local/var'
localstatedir='${prefix}/var'
With user build group "guix-builder", which definitely exists.
This was the result of running "guix package -i hello" on a fresh new guix
0.2
Thank you in advance!
