The network wire is then unplugged and running again "guix package -i emacs" works as expected, i.e., shows the message saying "nothing to be done". Considering it is an old bug, the initial reporter is not reachable and the bug is not reproducible, I am closing it. Please feel free to reopen it if you hit again this bug. All the best, simon
