Sweet, glad that machine found a good home.

If anyone else (please vet for seriousness / time available) needs Yeeloong hardware, please tell me, I have some I could provide for inexpensive / cheap based on the person's financial situation.

Also, if anyone who works on guix happens to be in the Boston area, I'd love to talk to them IRL.

Hello!

At FOSDEM yesterday I had the pleasure to meet NixOS people, and the
opportunity to receive a Fuloong machine from Lluís Batlle i Rossell.

The machine was initially donated to Lluís by Daniel Clark [0] to
initiate the port of NixOS to MIPS64, which Lluís quickly achieved.

So a big thanks to you Daniel for the donation, and to you Lluís for
bringing it over to Brussels!

We’ll put it to good use for the GNU Guix project, in our endeavor to
build a GNU distribution [1].  Nikita Karetnikov has already started
porting Guix to that platform, and hopefully Andreas Enge will be able
to help now.  Eventually, we’ll most likely add the machine as a slave
for our build farm (a Hydra instance) that we’re currently setting up.

Thank you!  :-)
