The =E2=80=9CExiting shepherd=E2=80=9D message above normally only gets pri=
nted upon
=E2=80=98halt=E2=80=99 or =E2=80=98reboot=E2=80=99 (or =E2=80=98herd stop r=
oot=E2=80=99.)  Could it be that one of these
commands was run at that time?

I=E2=80=99ve just tried in a VM and haven=E2=80=99t been able to reproduce =
it either.

I=E2=80=99m closing the bug but do reopen it if the problem comes up again.
