I think that it needs some polishing, but I like the idea.  I suggest to
add a perspective (e.g., lambda can step out of the circle).

Also, could you convert it to curves?  This version will appear
differently depending on the installed fonts.

I'm attaching my version.  Basically, it's "NixOS reversed."  Lambdas
are free (i.e., not connected) and colors are warmer.
