So we=E2=80=99d probably have to (1) make it explicit, and (2) use =E2=80= =98--root=E2=80=99 when generating a GRUB entry for a system generation that lacks the explicit =E2=80=9Croot=3DXYZ=E2=80=9D string in its =E2=80=98kernel-arguments=E2=80= =99.
