I=E2=80=99m happy to report that this bug is finally fixed, in commit
b006ba50384f9cb517fa881299160adba0aaca9e.  :-)

It should take effect immediately: =E2=80=9Cguix pull && guix --version=E2=
=80=9D should
display a version string other than =E2=80=9C0.10.0=E2=80=9D or similar.

Eventually the version string will include the Git commit id, =C3=A0 la =E2=
=80=9Cgit
describe=E2=80=9D.
