AFAIK the =E2=80=98texinfo.tex=E2=80=99 file that Automake 1.15 installs is=
 good enough,
as shown by

Can you try running =E2=80=9Cautoreconf -vfi=E2=80=9D with Automake 1.15 in=
stalled?
