Now there=E2=80=99s a =E2=80=98guix-daemon=E2=80=99 binary that gets built.=
  Unlike
=E2=80=98nix-daemon=E2=80=99, it does not check for nix.conf, and expects o=
ptions to be
passed on the command-line.

You must run =E2=80=98./bootstrap=E2=80=99 before anything else.  It will t=
ake care of
running autoreconf.

This is a sign that =E2=80=98nix-upstream=E2=80=99 did not get populated by
=E2=80=98./bootstrap=E2=80=99 (which just does =E2=80=98git submodule updat=
e=E2=80=99.)
