As suggested by Andy on #guix, ‘guix package -i’ and similar—i.e., the
‘show-what-to-build’ procedure in (guix ui)—should display the installed
and downloaded size of the items that will be fetched.

The total download size is reported since commit 
d9bad2f08296fa73b967973aa6648d24c100980f.

Diplaying the ‘installed size’ of a random (substitutable) subset 
doesn't really make sense.
