SourceForge is currently (since weeks) restructuring their site, which
unfortunately causes these kind of hiccups:

$> guix build -S --no-substitutes hdparm
$> tail -n 5 \ 
/gnu/store/mr2ksp6kf5n3mw9g446ff1ivmlh897mg-hdparm-9.53.tar.gz

It works again now.  It's the redirection from
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/ to a mirror that didn't work.
