Some of those reasons (reproducibility and security concerns) are obviated for fixed-output derivations like upstream sources, and I think it would be fine to still use substitutes for these derivations. But the motivations of privacy, self-sufficiency, etc are not addressed by that idea. --tjCHc7DPkfUGtrlw Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCAAdFiEEsFFZSPHn08G5gDigJkb6MLrKfwgFAlnSg88ACgkQJkb6MLrK fwgqYA//Zwe4/WDJ9Hp622dJYZtUbjlsugX44QQIfZY65NNMfhEMdtct9SyiDzHR mxvGdSf4kBKI+wdYcJIn5CtFJRD+Bz0zCc94tRlNk+W8bcJt2fJIqWJpGjW0VINI oCp1mu2q+SgDWzOoB3owQyiOu+txm9eB5ZjrUvd+gp++TmbedkAENLBiAaoYZD9E mXrpjMWq2MCTTACzCLQZU0OxffQlL/4UKq1M9qfdWWDi9V/dZ8jBsz9HHcKzt8Kv gUUFUAGDe5/o7pXf73PW+S67AvbDZrPQN2V0yckpC3yb/ZqawzWiu2Y3zrW2ISNm egzs40CLK2oKowl47nrO+Etb5MxmNbZPDjgqiN1WXjFfSm8YcdzAAOKR8jX8ocC6 vzcoHd0iBbfLyK5fFInixwx7ct1AArtpRK1BoC7D7z3+82VQmu/KMxoWInxI0DLF CdfYO9AydgvCW+qiUOAa6I6xMNvDCvkHoJFt5axe4W+JX1WtFsETP+4uLCA5H6TW I8CvU3eUU0cxGEjHunFtgdmsQx3dYajTiq4aSP9EQMdaHDouBEIRF++LIwuXqqjk FrcILwnhgw+/gFjs3+Jix4pneqlDS6R2bOSgpehf9NLrHKrbMxUhVGLeyNhYsE7d 9m8sdEwxcXliq1rDcDynqmTDK6f5ij2jdSziUnZScF4DJ976HJ0= =964r -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --tjCHc7DPkfUGtrlw--
