Hey all,

Karl writes in saying it's that time of year, the FSF membership drive.
How about giving a membership to a hacker friend or colleague of yours?

The URL, as he mentions, is http://www.fsf.org/

Happy hacking,

Andy

The FSF is again approaching the end of the membership year, so is
hoping to encourage new folks to join. Of course, the more members,
the more support for GNU infrastructure and free software campaigns.

The direct url to join is http://www.fsf.org/join. That page also has
links to the various FSF campaigns, resources, etc.

If you think it's appropriate, please forward this to your project
mailing list and/or specific friends you think would be interested
and/or consider joining yourself. If you're already a member, and in
any case for your contributions to GNU, thanks very much.

Happy hacking to all,
Karl

Hey all,

Fellow GNU hacker Karl Berry writes in to say:

A you may have seen on the GNU and FSF web sites, the FSF is having
its annual year-end membership drive. If you or friends have a bit
of money, please consider joining or donating. And if you already
have -- and for working on GNU in any case! -- many thanks, of
    course.

Here's a video and note from Peter Brown, the FSF executive director:

Tell them GNU Guile sent you :)

Cheers,

Andy
