GEE/UUID version 0.4b0 is available.
<http://gna.org/projects/gee>
<http://www.ossp.org>
This version is tested with Guile 1.8.3 and OSSP/UUID 1.4.2.
GEE/UUID is a C language library extension for Guile, the
GNU's Ubiquitous Intelligent Language for Extensions. It
offers an interface to OSSP UUID, an ISO-C:1999 application
programming interface for the generation of DCE 1.1, ISO/IEC
11578:1996 and RFC 4122 compliant Universally Unique
Identifier (UUID).
You can use GEE/UUID under the terms of the GNU General
Public License version 2, or (at your option) any later
version.
UUID is:
Copyright (c) 2004-2006 Ralf S. Engelschall
<rse/engelschall.com>
Copyright (c) 2004-2006 The OSSP Project
UUID is distributed under a free software license.
I propose Networking because UUIDs are meant to be unique
in a distributed environment.
