Hi,

I was not aware that Guile 1.8 was still "officially" maintained. What is the current status/policy about it?

 I'm not sure is appropriate to ask  but it would be nice if MinGW (both 32 and 64 bit) could be supported and to have it parallel installable with Guile 2 (and Guile 3).
