Hey Guilers!
On behalf of the Spritely Institute, I'm happy to announce that
Goblins 0.14.0 has been released! Goblins is a distributed object
programming environment that provides an intuitive security model,
automatic local transactions for locally synchronous operations, and
an easy to use and efficient asynchronous programming interface for
encapsulated objects which can live anywhere on the network. Our goal
is to make secure, distributed programming easy!
The highlights of this release are:
- New libp2p netlayer
- Intra-vat persistence is now possible
- Vat root object upgrades are now possible
- New 'migrations' macro for more easily describing upgrades
- Convenient self-reference syntax added to 'define-actor' macro
Read the full release notes here:

If you use Guix then it's easy to try out Goblins:
guix pull
guix shell guile-goblins
That's all for now. If you build anything with Goblins, we'd love to
hear about it!
- Dave
