Congratulations on the new release!
I am glad the GNU Smalltalk and Guile teams achieved this. This
demonstrates that Guile 2.0 lays the ground for a new synergy and
unprecedented extensibility capabilities of the GNU operating system.
In particular, Emacs users will soon be able to extend it not only in
Emacs Lisp, Scheme, and Brainfuck, but also in Smalltalk, possibly
leveraging the shoes toolkit to add new gadgets.
The release wasn’t in time for GNU 0.401, released earlier today [0],
but will hopefully be included in the next iteration.
Thanks,
Ludo’.
