With        checkout        from       master        (commit
4db853d747ac115f799c93e2de93f5159ad84109) I get this error:

IIRC  it  was  right  after  a  "git clone"  and  a  run  of
autogen.sh.

I am  interested in  the version which  will have  the first
usable R6RS; I will follow stable-2.0 for now, thanks.
